What We Do for the Library
The funds we raise are used to purchase materials and equipment for the library. We also finance programs for children, teens, and adults. We support book clubs, stamp clubs, and other shared interest in the community. We staff an onsite bookstore and host monthly book sales in the library's community room. We host events with musicians and guest speakers.
Mission Statement
The Friends of San Pedro Library has formed exclusively for charitable, literary and educational purposes by maintaining community-based membership, stimulating the use of the library's facilities, resources and services and focusing public attention on the library in order to create a community of readers and empower individuals with free access to information and the universe of ideas.
